The “39” in l39ion

Prior to becoming the most consequential professional cycling team in the world, our humble beginnings started on 39th Street in South Central, Los Angeles where the Williams brothers were raised.

Once the word “Legion” was settled on, Justin began working with the typography to work in 39th Street, and realized he could replace “EG” with a “39”. From that point forward, 39th Street would always be remembered through our branding, and carried into the future.
